7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen (hamstring) was scheduled to pitch in his first Cactus League game Friday but was scratched with hamstring tightness. It doesn't seem serious since manager Dave Roberts said that Jansen will next pitch on Monday in the team's "B" game against minor leaguers. The plan is to then bring Jansen into a regular Cactus game on Thursday. Jansen is baseball's best closer and one of the few fantasy closers that one can reasonably draft in the early rounds. Hamstring tightness is better than strains or tears, but the situation is worth monitoring anyway.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
