7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen easily put down the three batters he faced in Saturday's Cactus League game, striking out one. The plan is for Jansen to make four more appearances before Opening Day. He'll pitch Monday against the A's, followed by a four-out appearance on Thursday -- in 2017, the Dodgers asked Jansen to provide more than three outs 14 times. He'll lastly pitch in back-to-back games in the Freeway Series against the Angels next weekend. The Dodgers have been bringing back baseball's top closer slowly given the number of innings he pitched en route to the World Series. He'll get plenty of save opportunities and insane strikeout-to-walk ratios.--Mario Hernandez - RotoBaller
