Kenneth Dixon Could Be A RB3 To Start 2019
6 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Kenneth Dixon, like rookie Gus Edwards, came on strong to close the season. But Dixon is a little different case due as injuries throughout his young career have plagued him. The 24-year-old finished the season by totaling 66 yards from scrimmage in the AFC Wildcard Game loss to the Chargers, although he managed just 13 yards on the ground on six attempts while also losing a fumble. Still, the Louisiana Tech product had a solid season producing 346 rushing yards and two scores on 66 carries (5.24 ypc) to go along with nine receptions for 104 yards in seven total games. His best game came in a must-win Week 17 clash with the Browns where he rolled to the tune of 117 yards on 12 carries. Dixon is projected to share the workload with Edwards next year, and if that is the case, he could have more fantasy upside due to his pass catching ability and work around the goal line.
