3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie running back Kenneth Gainwell faded into the background in Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Bucs. Gainwell was only on the field for 23 percent of the team's offensive snaps and ended up with just one catch for one yard. That's it. The Eagles only ran the ball with a running back once in the first half, but finally deployed starter Miles Sanders a bit more in the second half. Gainwell was nowhere to be seen, even with the Eagles behind and in catch up mode. There's very little fantasy value in the Eagles backfield since the team has clearly shown that they are unwilling to run the ball with anyone besides their quarterback. Gainwell cannot be used in any starting lineups at this point, but remains a high-upside hold.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
