Kenneth Gainwell Week 10 Outlook for Fantasy Football

2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie running back Kenneth Gainwell is not a starting fantasy option in most leagues in a Week 10 matchup against the Denver Broncos. Many believed that Gainwell would be the main beneficiary of Miles Sanders (ankle) landing on injured reserve, but it's been practice squad member Jordan Howard and special teams player Boston Scott leading the backfield, while Gainwell's role has actually decreased. He did manage to score a touchdown in Week 9, but it was more a matter of right place right time, as he only ran the ball twice for a total of three yards and did not see a target in the passing game. He's a definite hold in dynasty leagues, but fantasy managers in redraft formats can probably make better use of that roster spot.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
