Kenneth Gainwell Week 17 Outlook for Fantasy Football

2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles rookie running back Kenneth Gainwell could take on a significant role in the Eagles backfield in Week 17 against the Washington Football Team. Gainwell has been relegated to a mostly special teams position lately, but with Miles Sanders (hand) out and Jordan Howard (neck) questionable, the Eagles backfield could end up being made up of just Gainwell and Boston Scott. With quarterback Jalen Hurts taking most of the red zone running plays himself, any Eagles running back's upside is limited, but Gainwell could easily have one of his best performances of the season in the fantasy finals.
