Kenneth Walker III Gets Some Work In On Monday
2 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (hernia) got some work in on Monday as his team gears up to take on the Denver Broncos in Week 1's Monday Night Football game. Walker had hernia surgery in the middle of August in what the team called a "minor procedure". The rookie still has a shot to make it back onto the field for Week 1, although head coach Pete Carroll told reporters that he was "unsure" if Walker would play on Monday night. If Walker plays, he is likely to mix in behind starter Rashaad Penny and would be unlikely to see a full workload. Seattle's official practice reports later in the week will shed more light on Walker's status.
