Kenneth Walker III To Debut In Week 2
2 years agoSeattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said that rookie running back Kenneth Walker III (hernia) will return to make his NFL debut in Week 2 against the division-rival San Francisco 49ers. "Kenny Walker is going to be out there this week for us to add to that," Carroll said. The 21-year-old second-rounder had surgery for a hernia in mid-August and was inactive for Monday's Week 1 win over the Denver Broncos, but he'll return in Week 2. Rashaad Penny (12 carries for 60 yards, two catches for seven yards) was Seattle's clear lead back on Monday night and should be again this weekend against the 49ers, but Walker will slowly be eased into the rotation for Seattle. Walker should be stashed in all season-long formats, ideally by fantasy managers that also roster Penny, but he'll be hard to trust as a flex play in his first game coming off injury.
