4 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Kenny Golladay (hamstring) won't play Week 2 but is "really close" to a return, according to head coach Matt Patricia. Golladay hasn't been able to practice since injuring his hamstring prior to Week 1. Detroit's offense moved the ball well in Week 1, though they were clearly missing the presence of their alpha wideout. It hasn't been an ideal start to the season for those who drafted him, but it sure sounds like the extra week of rest could allow Golladay to be ready to take the field for Week 3 against the Cardinals, a potential high-scoring affair.--Tim Capurso
