2 years agoPittsburgh Steelers rookie first-round quarterback Kenny Pickett only received third-string repetitions in organized team activities and mandatory minicamp. Getting NFL-ready with limited first-team repetitions in training camp and three preseason games won't track Pickett to start anytime soon. Unless Mitchell Trubisky gets hurt or plays terribly in camp and the preseason, it's difficult to see a scenario where he doesn't start the season as the starter, according to The Athletic's Mark Kaboly. Whether Pickett sees starts in his rookie season will depend on how well Trubisky plays.
