3 years agoPittsburgh quarterback Kenny Pickett, who could be the first QB selected in the first round of this year's draft, had his hands measured at 8 1/2 inches on Thursday at the NFL scouting combine. The measurement is smaller than any QB currently in the NFL, and he would have the smallest hands of any QB taken in the first round since 2003. Jared Goff, J.P. Losman, Ryan Tannehill and Joe Burrow all measured with nine-inch hands. Pickett continues to downplay the size of his hands, and he was a Heisman Trophy finalist in 2021 after throwing for 4,319 yards and 42 touchdowns in his final season in college. This year's crop of QBs heading into the NFL draft are among the weakest in recent history, but Pickett will be trying to prove all the doubters wrong.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
