Kenny Stills Traded To Texans
5 years agoThe Houston Texans have acquired wide receiver Kenny Stills as part of a deal with the Miami Dolphins that also landed the team left tackle Laremy Tunsil. Stills' fit in Houston is intriguing, as he has the speed to be a major downfield threat for quarterback Deshaun Watson. The problem lies with the construction of Houston's roster. DeAndre Hopkins is Houston's top wideout and remains that, but beyond that the team has Will Fuller and Keke Coutee. Coutee is more of an underneath guy, but Fuller and Stills have overlapping skill sets. They'll likely split time as the second outside receiver, though Stills will probably see slot snaps in Week 1 as Keke Coutee deals with an ankle injury. Stills' fantasy value wasn't high in Miami, and while the Texans will throw a ton more, the competition for targets has me leaving him about where he was before the trade in my projections.
