Kenta Maeda Likely To Have Two-Start Week
3 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Kenta Maeda, who had been set for Saturday before the rainout, is being bumped to Monday in Chicago, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. The Twins have seven games on the slate for next week, including a weekend series at Kansas City, so Maeda is likely to get two starts. Maeda should be used in fantasy leagues with weekly lineup changes despite the potent White Sox offense. The right-hander hasn't lived up to his draft billing, but he's improved in June, going 1-0 with a 2.89 ERA and 11 strikeouts over two starts. The shuffling may jeopardize prospective two-start weeks for Bailey Ober and/or Jose Berrios.
