Kenta Maeda Finds Way To Limit The Damage
6 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Kenta Maeda scattered seven hits with two walks allowed over five scoreless innings while striking out three in a no-decision on Monday night in San Francisco. He threw 45 of his 73 pitches for strikes, throwing first-pitch strikes to 12 of the 22 batters he faced. It wasn't a great night, but he found a way to limit the damage. Ross Stripling absolutely imploded in the seventh inning, yielding three earned runs, two hits and a walk while retiring just one batter, ruining an otherwise good evening for the staff. Maeda will look to get back into the win column Sunday in San Diego opposite dynamic rookie Chris Paddack.
