Kenta Maeda Picks Up Victory In Return From IL
5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Kenta Maeda (thigh) made his return from the 10-day injured list for his start Sunday against the Pittsburgh Pirates. He allowed just three earned runs, five hits and no walks with four strikeouts over five innings to pick up the road victory. He threw 57 of his 81 pitches for strikes, throwing first-pitch strikes to 14 of the 20 batters he faced. It was a nice outing for Maeda, and it appears safe to plug him back into the active fantasy lineup. His next scheduled start is set for Friday night opposite Jake Arrieta and the Philadelphia Phillies at Dodger Stadium
