Kenta Maeda Records Quality Start In Losing Effort
4 years agoMinnesota Twins pitcher Kenta Maeda delivered a quality start in Sunday's loss to the Tigers. Maeda went six innings, striking out eight batters while allowing three runs. That's three straight starts for the 31-year-old with at least seven strikeouts and three or fewer runs allowed, though he's only recorded one win in that span. Maeda should get more run support in his next outing from the Twins' normally powerful lineup. The veteran right-hander makes for a great start in his next time out there, a rematch against the Tigers scheduled for September 4.
