Kenyan Drake Logs Only Six Carries in Loss
5 years agoLikely in a move to limit his usage in anticipation of a trade, Miami Dolphins running back Kenyan Drake was mostly absent in a 31-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. With Mark Walton getting the surprise start, Drake didn’t get his first carry until near the end of the first quarter and ended up rushing for just 21 yards on six carries. Drake did add three catches on four targets and finished with 37 yards receiving but was still out-touched by Walton 15-9. With a rash of injuries to running backs on Sunday, teams might be more motivated to trade for the fourth-year back out of Alabama, but until then Drake is going nowhere fast on the league's worst team and can be dropped as soon as you need the roster spot.
