Kenyan Drake Remains Mostly Irrelevant
5 years agoMiami Dolphins running back Kenyan Drake did little in a 31-10 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, rushing nine times for 44 yards and no scores. He also caught 3-of-5 targets for 29 yards as the Miami offense actually moved the ball well in the first half, with Drake busting a 19-yard screen pass and a 10-yard run. But Drake - and the entire Miami offense - was bottled up in the second half and was even replaced at one point by backup Mark Walton after fumbling. Drake's status as a low-end flex option continues to get lower and lower and there are fewer and fewer reasons to keep him rostered as the Dolphins head into their bye in Week 5.
