Kenyan Drake To Have Workload Monitored
5 years agoArizona Cardinals running back Kenyan Drake will be given a "manageable" workload in Week 9 to help his transition to a new team in a short week, according to head coach Kliff Kingsbury. Look for him to share work with Alfred Morris or Zach Zenner against the daunted San Francisco 49ers Defense. The Niners have allowed one touchdown to backs over the last five weeks. Drake is a flex option in point-per-reception leagues, but if he's scaled back to 10 to 15 touches, the upside against this defense isn't there. If running back Chase Edmonds (hamstring) makes a rapid recovery from his hamstring injury to suit up, he's a flex candidate as well.
