5 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Keon Broxton is expected to join the team Friday in Colorado after being acquired from the Mets. Joey Rickard was optioned to Triple-A on Thursday to make room for Broxton. Broxton appeared in 34 games with the Mets but garnered only 53 plate appearances, hitting .143 with one double and two RBI. Broxton should see more consistent playing time with the non-contending Orioles, but still does not figure to be much of a fantasy asset.--Walt Clark
