5 years agoDetroit Lions running back Kerryon Johnson returned to action in Week 16, posting 42 yards on 10 carries along with one catch for an additional yard in the Lions loss to the Denver Broncos. It was a bit curious to see Johnson activated, seeing as the Lions are out of playoff contention, but he looked good in his return, averaging a solid 4.2 yards per carry. Johnson ended up leading the team in rushing attempts on the day as well. The Lions schedule doesn't get any easier in Week 17 with the Green Bay Packers on deck. Johnson will slot in as a low-end RB2 for that matchup.--Joseph Magazzinich
