5 years agoMilwaukee Brewers second baseman Keston Hiura has been sent down to Triple-A San Antonio the team announced Monday. Hiura was batting .281 with five home runs in 69 plate appearances but the team decided to send him back down to make room for Travis Shaw who is coming off the injured list. Hiura was striking out at a 33.3 percent rate and walking at a 4.3 percent rate so he could work on the plate discipline while in the minors, but it certainly appeared Hiura did enough to stay in the Majors. His upside is worth stashing in deep leagues, especially at second base, but he's droppable in most 12-team mixed leagues until he works his way back to Milwaukee.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
