2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks second baseman Ketel Marte (hamstring) was removed from Wednesday's win over the Cincinnati Reds with a tight hamstring. According to Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo, the move to pull Marte from the game was precautionary. The 28-year-old went 1-for-3 with a walk and a run before being replaced in the ninth inning. Arizona has a scheduled day off on Thursday, and Marte will have an extra day to rest.
