3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Ketel Marte is not in the starting lineup for Friday night's matchup with the Brewers. It appears to simply be a day off for Marte, who had a big night at the plate on Thursday where he went 4-for-5 with a double, one RBI and a run scored in a 7-4 loss to Milwaukee. Marte has been heating up at the plate over his last 15 games, slashing .333/.373/.500 with two home runs, nine RBI and nine runs scored. With Marte out, Pavin Smith will start in center and bat sixth against Freddy Peralta and the Brewers.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
