5 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder/second baseman Ketel Marte is resting in Saturday's matchup versus Tyler Beede and the San Francisco Giants. Marte was pulled in Friday's contest after experiencing a groin cramp, but the team stated it was a precautionary move and are likely playing it safe with his absence Saturday. The 25-year-old is having a breakout campaign slashing .309/.359/.586 with 20 homers, 51 runs, 51 RBI, and four thefts continuing to bat atop the potent D'backs lineup.
