7 years agoArizona Coyotes defenseman Kevin Connauton had his best game of the season against the Vegas Golden Knights on Wednesday, as he scored with two of his four shots on goal in a 3-2 win. He also had five hits and posted a team-leading plus-three rating. Connauton has done some decent work in the bottom pairing this season, recording nine goals and 18 points, which is just one shy of his career high. He's been plus-three in back-to-back games now playing alongside rookie Trevor Murphy, and with the team on a roll, Connauton is on his way to securing an NHL contract for next season as well.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
