6 years agoNashville Predators left wing Kevin Fiala produced the team's only goal in Monday's 2-1 shootout loss at Anaheim. Fiala tied the game early in the third period, extending his point streak to three games. Kyle Turris and Craig Smith provided the assists. As a top-six forward, Fiala has been very disappointing this season, managing to record only eight points in 17 games, but his recent improvement is an encouraging sign. Viktor Arvidsson (upper body) headed to the injured reserve prior to Monday's game, so there will be some extra minutes to be handed out, especially on the power play, and Fiala will be one of the beneficiaries.
