5 years agoOut since June 10 with plantar fasciitis, Atlanta Braves starter Kevin Gausman was activated off of the 10-day IL on Sunday in time to face the Washington Nationals. Gausman made his return a triumphant one, going seven strong innings before being pulled in the eighth after he allowed the first two men to reach base. One would eventually come around to score after he was pulled so Gausman's final line was seven innings with one earned run and eight strikeouts with no walks allowed. The 28-year-old right-hander is set to make his next start in Philadelphia on Saturday.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
