3 years agoSan Francisco Giants pitcher Kevin Gausman was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Tuesday due to side effects from the vaccine. He is scheduled to face the Atlanta Braves on Friday but could have his start pushed back after dealing with vaccine side effects. The 30-year-old has been terrific in 2021, owning a (12-5) record along with a 2.47 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, and a 174:46 K: BB across 146 innings. Gausman will need a few extra days to recover and is expected to have Friday's start pushed back to early next week.
