2 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Kevin Gausman (ankle) was in play to start on Tuesday against the Philadelphia Phillies, but right-hander Jose Berrios will make the start instead. Gausman completed a bullpen session last Friday, but they still aren't comfortable having him take the mound after he suffered a right ankle injury. The 31-year-old right-hander should return to the rotation this week, possibly on Wednesday against the Phillies. He might be a bit more risky in fantasy in his first start back, but he's been a must-start in 2022 before his injury, going 6-6 with a 2.86 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, 100 strikeouts and only 16 walks in 88 innings over 16 starts in his first year in Toronto.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
