Kevin Harris Finds The End Zone In Preseason Opener
2 years agoNew England Patriots running back Kevin Harris rushed six times for nine yards and a touchdown while catching one of two targets for minus two yards in Thursday's 23-21 preseason loss to the New York Giants. He averaged 1.8 yards after contact per attempt but salvaged his fantasy day by rushing a three-yard score during the third quarter. The sixth-round pick entered the game after J.J. Taylor but surprisingly saw the field before fourth-round pick Pierre Strong Jr. James White retired on Thursday, leaving a void on third downs for New England; the 21-year-old will have a chance to compete for that role. Harris will have to beat Ty Montgomery, Strong, and Taylor for a spot on the 53-man roster.
