Kevin Harvick is a Strong Daytona Option if He Can Avoid Wrecks
5 years agoStewart-Haas Racing driver Kevin Harvick will make his 38th Daytona start at this year’s Daytona 500. In his career, “The Closer” has two wins, 14 Top 10 finishes and 256 laps led, which is fifth-most of active drivers. Since 2018 at the site, Harvick ranks fifth in Laps in the Top 15 (428) and Driver Rating (87.1), while he ranks third in Average Running Position (14.1) and Quality Passes (585). Harvick generally runs well at DIS, but he has wrecked out in five of the last seven races at the track. The driver of the #4 Ford performed well in the second BlueGreen Vacation duel, leading the most laps and he will start fourth. Although he is one of the most expensive driver, expect Harvick to finish around his starting position if he avoids wrecks.
