6 years agoPittsburgh Pirates second base prospect Kevin Kramer has hit three home runs over his past 10 games to give him eight on the season. The eight home runs are already more than Kramer has hit in a single season in his professional career. Kramer has fallen victim to 66 strikeouts versus just 16 walks this season and will need to improve his plate discipline if he wants to succeed at the next level. The Pirates are expected to be sellers, and second baseman Josh Harrison will likely be moved, and that could lead to Kramer getting some run at second base this summer. Kramer doesn't offer much speed, but it seems that his power is finally coming along. Kramer is a watch-list candidate in all formats.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
