3 years agoThe move up to welterweight did not go exactly as planned for the former lightweight title challenger Kevin Lee on Saturday. Entering the contest with losses in four of his previous six bouts, Lee dropped the bout Saturday by unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 28-29) to Daniel Rodriguez. Lee tallied only 56 significant strikes (74 total strikes) compared to Rodriguez, who more than doubled Lee's total by landing 120 significant strikes (137 total strikes). Depending on where Lee chooses to go from here, the days of considering the Motown Phenom may be unfortunately past us.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
