4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates shortstop Kevin Newman is getting a breather versus Brewers right-hander Brandon Woodruff. Erik Gonzalez is taking over at short and batting ninth as Phillip Evans bats out of the two-hole for the Bucs. Newman is off to a slow 2020 with just one hit in 16 at-bats after hitting a shiny .308 a year ago.
