Kevin Pillar Drives In Two On Monday
3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Kevin Pillar went 1-for-3 with a two-run double and a walk in the Mets 5-2 win over the Chicago Cubs on Monday. Pillar continues to perform for the Mets while many regulars including Brandon Nimmo (finger), Michael Conforto (hamstring), and Jeff McNeil (hamstring) remain on the injured list. Over his last seven games, Pillar owns a .292/.346/.625 slash line with two home runs and seven RBI in 24 at-bats. Pillar will continue to get most of the playing time in centerfield until Nimmo returns from the IL. He is a solid add and streaming option for fantasy managers in deep mixed leagues and NL-only formats while he is regularly hitting in the middle of the Mets lineup.
