Kevin Pillar Picks Up Two Hits In First Start Back
3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Kevin Pillar was back in the starting lineup Wednesday for the first time since being hit in the face with a Jacob Webb fastball, and he went 2-for-5 with a run scored in the contest. Pillar has looked very capable since returning, and he stands to garner most of the playing time in center field until Brandon Nimmo returns from the injured list. He could be a very useful under-the-radar add for fantasy managers in need of a bit of everything, as Pillar has registered a .695 OPS with two homers and two steals so far this season.
