3 years agoBoston Red Sox catcher Kevin Plawecki (hamstring) may require a trip to the injured list, according to manager Alex Cora. The 30-year-old veteran exited Sunday's matchup against Kansas City because of tightness in his left hamstring, and while there is still hope he won't need to take a trip to the IL, things aren't looking promising. Plawecki is batting .258 this season and isn't the everyday backstop for the team, so, likely, fantasy managers won't lose much sleep. He was replaced in the lineup by Christian Vazquez, although he isn't a reliable fantasy option either.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
