Kevin Plawecki Ramping Up Activities
3 years agoBoston Red Sox catcher Kevin Plawecki (hamstring) has recently resumed running while also performing baseball activities. The 30-year-old has been out of commission for a few weeks now because of a left hamstring strain. However, Plawecki doesn't have much value, primarily since he has split time with Christian Vazquez this season. While that could change if he receives more playing time as the team's consistent backstop moving ahead, it doesn't appear likely. Connor Wong, who replaced him on the roster, should continue to appear in a few more games. However, he shouldn't have a place in nearly all fantasy formats.
