7 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Kevin White (shoulder) has been taking part in offseason practices this week during veteran minicamp to start his third comeback from a major injury. The former seventh overall pick in 2015 suffered broken legs in 2015 and 2016 and a broken shoulder blade last season. He's played in just five career games for the Bears but has upside if he can ever stay healthy. “Kevin right now I thought looked sharp,” head coach Matt Nagy said Tuesday. “He played fast. He showed strong hands. He’s a big, physical guy. Confidence, right? I said it earlier, how do you get out of this thing with confidence? He did a good job.” The Bears have added Allen Robinson and Taylor Gabriel in free agency, so even if White is healthy this year, there may not be as many opportunities as he may have had before. Obviously he presents big injury risk, which is why he's nothing more than a late-round flier in deeper leagues, but he could be a sleeper off the waiver wire early in the season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
