Khalil Herbert - Week 6 Outlook for Fantasy Football
3 years agoChicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert will serve as the change-of-pace back as the team prepares to take on the Packers in Week 6. Herbert looked fantastic spelling starter Damien Williams out of the backfield last week and actually finished the game with more carries (18) than the veteran (15). But Williams will continue to start for the Bears as Chicago has shifted its offensive scheme to a run-first outfit. This means plenty of touches for both running backs as they will face a Packers defense that is allowing the 17th fewest fantasy points to opposing runners. Herbert looked fantastic last week and is worth a roster spot in deeper leagues but will be a very risky play in starting lineups for Week 6. UPDATE: Damien Williams was placed on the COVID-19 list on Thursday, and is likely to be unavailable for this week's game against the Packers. Khalil Herbert is now in a position to start and would be a viable RB2 with upside.
