6 years agoOakland Athletics designated hitter Khris Davis went 2-for-5 with an RBI double and a walk in Sunday's 5-4 loss against the Toronto Blue Jays. Of course, he also struck out twice, too, but fantasy owners know what they're getting into with the slugger in that department. He entered the day hitless over his past 13 at-bats to sink to .217, so perhaps this multi-hit game will get him going heading into Boston on Monday night. He has one homer in 13 at-bats against Boston pitching this season, and he had two homers in 23 at-bats vs. the Red Sox in 2018. Despite a low average you never reserve Davis because of his power potential.--Daniel Dobish
