6 years agoOakland Athletics designated hitter Khris Davis will take a seat from Sunday's lineup against the Houston Astros. Kendrys Morales will move from first base and start at designated hitter and bat fourth, while Chad Pinder will start at first and bat fifth against starter Brad Peacock. This will serve as Davis' first off day this season. He has five home runs and 10 runs batted in through 12 games. Morales has been quiet so far this season with just one RBI in 25 plate appearances, but he has a career .203 ISO with 162 home runs against right-handed pitchers. Pinder has been serving a utility role for Oakland and is hitting .233 with a home run and four RBI. Morales could return some DFS value given his history against righties. However, Pinder doesn't offer the same upside, even in a good matchup.--Steve Janik - RotoBaller
