5 years agoOakland Athletics designated hitter Khris Davis will hit seventh against right-handed starter Charlie Morton and the Rays in the AL Wild Card game. It has been a rough year offensively for Davis and will have a tough matchup in this crucial game. Davis is slashing only .200/.278/.327 with only 12 extra-base hits over his last 205 at-bats in a season the slugger would like to forget. It doesn't get any easier in this elimination game as Davis is 3-for-21 lifetime against the Rays Morton. Two of those hits left the yard so fantasy owners investing in Davis for Wednesday will have to hope he runs into one to produce.--Joey C - RotoBaller
