7 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Khris Davis is likely disabled list-bound due to a right groin strain, according to manager Bob Melvin. Melvin commented on MLB Network Radio that Davis is expected to end up on the disabled list based on how he was moving around afterwards. Davis is scheduled to be re-evaluated Monday with an update to follow. The Athletics offense will miss him and his very good start to the season. He has hit 13 homers with 38 RBI and a .235 average. Matt Joyce, Mark Canha and Chad Pinder will rotate to fill the void left by Davis in the outfield.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
