5 years agoOakland Athletics designated hitter Khris Davis went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and he added an RBI single later in Sunday's 9-8 victory against the Texas Rangers. It was the 13th home run of the season for Davis, but his first since May 13. He has been struggling with a left hip and oblique injury, playing through it initially before being sidelined from May 22-31. He has 17 home runs in 32 career games at Globe Life Park in Arlington, and 71 career RBI overall against the Rangers.--Daniel Dobish
