5 years agoOakland Athletics first baseman/designated hitter Khris Davis (hip, oblique) is eligible to come off the 10-day injured list on Saturday for Game 2 of the weekend series against the Houston Astros, but manager Bob Melvin is uncertain if Davis will be ready. "I mean, it all depends on how he feels, whether he feels like we need to give him a couple of live at-bats, whether it's velocity off a machine, and so we'll make that determination," Melvin said. Davis has been sidelined since May 5 due to a left hip and oblique contusion. Keep him reserved in all fantasy leagues until he can officially return and prove his health in a full game without any setbacks.--Daniel Dobish
