3 years agoBoston Red Sox utility man Kike Hernandez had another strong game out of the leadoff spot Wednesday, going 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, a walk, two RBI, and a run scored against the Toronto Blue Jays. The long ball was his 14th of the season and came off of Blue Jays starter Robbie Ray. Hernandez has a reputation for being somewhat streaky, but he's sustained his success for some time now, batting .255/.373/.591 with nine homer runs and 21 RBI in his last 30 games. He has plenty of fantasy value with the leadoff spot seemingly his for keeps.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
