Kike Hernandez Picks Up Two More Hits Tuesday
3 years agoBoston Red Sox utility man Kike Hernandez had his third consecutive multi-hit game Tuesday, going 2-for-4 against the Kansas City Royals with two singles, a run, and an RBI. This three-game hit streak has coincided with Hernandez's return to the leadoff spot, and he's staking his claim to the position. Over his last 15 games, Hernandez has slashed .236/.323/.491, and he's been even better with a .910 OPS over his last seven. Hernandez does carry fantasy value if he's perched atop the potent Red Sox lineup, and fantasy managers may want to check his availability.
