4 years agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Kike Hernandez (hamstring) has been placed on the injured list with a right hamstring strain, according to Ian Browne of MLB.com. Hernandez exited Thursday's game with what was announced as right hamstring tightness, and pregame examinations Friday showed it was significant enough for him to need a stint on the IL.
